Profile
Cynthia Rerko has extensive experience in the legal and financial aspects of debtor-creditor relationships and the issues that can arise in those relationships including lending, secured transactions, loan workouts, mortgages and foreclosures, public finance, municipal bonds and venture capital. She represents creditors and debtors in business reorganization, default resolution and bankruptcy proceedings. She negotiates and documents transactions involving modification of debt terms and reallocation of ownership interests. She aggressively litigates, if necessary, when efforts to reach a consensus are not successful.
